Medal - 22 April 2011
Hazel and Dot were the sponsors for the April 2011 medal and as usual there was a tough match in the morning of the twentysecond of April and to give the competition an extra slant, the Captain also embedded it with a "White Heather" competition, so not only strokes, but also putts needed to be recorded.
Unlike April, the weather-gods were dashing sprays of rain over the competition, so we did see people getting in- and out- of rainclothes. Too wet to play without and too warm if the sun was shining between the rain guts. Umbrellas were not much help, as the wind was too strong. All of this made, that only the best of golfers were able to reach the ranks of "Prize Winner" and even less did achieve a cut in handicap.
