May 2011 Medal

Dick and Mal Chessman sponsored the Medal Competition for the month of May 2011. And, as usual, it was a fierce competition for the slew of prizes-to-be-won. The weather was nice, so there was no excuse for not playing well.

As is customary, the Medal competition was closed off by a Medal dinner, arranged by the sponsors. Appetizers were served and both Soup as well as the Melon looked appetizing. The main dishes were buffet style (Andrew overlooking than no-one cheated his choice) and this was followed by choice of sweets or cheese-platter. Most enjoyable! and Andrew, Donna and back-office staff got the hand-clap.

The Captain, this time was assisted by Lloyd ( Let's look at the report Lloyd sent in: ) and presented the prizes with the sponsors.

16 men and 12 ladies played the monthly medal.
