November 2011 - Monthly medal

Ted and Joyce are the sponsors of the October 2011 Medal Competition.
Graham explained that the sponsors could not be present due to a health issue, but that recovery for Joyce is progressing fine. We all wish Joyce and Ted our best and that all may be soon behind them, so they can enjoy the sun in Portugal again.

The nearest-the-pin winner was Ros Bowmer. She was interviewed after the prize giving and asked how she got "Hole-in-ONE" she explained: I was looking at the ball and thought "This time I'll give it a real good bang - I'll hit it so wel that it exactly does what I like it to do" - I was surprised to see the ball land on the green and disappear…. Whaauw!

Andrew and Donna set up for a nice meal, and about 40 people did like it all.
