And now it is Christmas (2012)

X-mas traditionally brings people together and at VDM it has grown to an occasion to thank the departing Captain and his team.

This time the sponsors for the event day - that is the Christmas medal and the prizes - were Andrew and Donna. In addition our first lot of 'thanks' go to Andrew and Donna for an excellent Christmas Dinner.

Christmas dinner was very enjoyable. Food and ambiance were great and Vale de Milho management must be proud to have such a team looking after good food and great drinks. We wish Andrew and Donna our best for the coming year and hope they will be a happy couple enjoying all those member around them.

Graham took the occasion to close off his Captains-year and thanked all those who helped him and in addition there were some surprise presents for these people as well. Great (see the pictures below ! ). Well done Graham! We all will remember you as 'SpeakingSlowly' but 'Well Articulated'.

The 'incoming Captian', Peter Hopwood, thanked Graham for all his efforts during his year of running Captains duties and rewarded Graham with a set of 'unbreakable' glasses, so memory will be forever!
